Startup Brand Package
Challenge
Disc Rescue Network presented a unique challenge which has taken us through many iterations. The biggest challenge that we face is creating a cohesive brand that speaks to the industry's grassroots while shouting that they are a software company. More uniquely we were challenged with creating a full visual identity for their initial seed raise round and a full UI build for the application they have developed. All this while building their social presence as they slowly go from an idea to a business.
Goal
The goal was to bring a unique branding direction playing with the idea of rescuing, software and disc golf. From the first time that you see the DRN branding, whether through the pitch deck, on social or when using the application, you should be greeted with something that says "We're here to save you with our amazing software".
Solution
We had a few different solutions that we've gone back and forth on which will be detailed out in a blog post, however, for those that don't care our final solution was what you see here. We played with the rescue floatation device that you see in any pool or on a ship, with crisp colors that suggest AMR / Medical, all while giving it the more specific disc shape.
